Sie haben, im Gegensatz zum normalen Seestern, eine glatte Oberseite und sind deutlich fester. Kammsterne sind nachtaktiv, tags\u00fcber liegen sie meist im Sand versteckt. Dabei k\u00f6nnen sie sich innerhalb einer Minute eingraben. Nachts jagen sie dann, ihre Nahrung besteht aus Muscheln, W\u00fcrmern, Schlangensternen und Seeigeln.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>Verbreitung:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">Kammsterne findet man vor allem in der Nordsee entlang der britischen Inseln und Irland, jedoch auch an der franz\u00f6sischen, belgischen, niederl\u00e4ndischen, sowie deutschen und d\u00e4nischen K\u00fcste.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Kammsterne sind deutlich sternf\u00f6rmig, ihre F\u00e4rbung variiert von blass br\u00e4unlich, bishin zu violett.
